Cultural Change

Culture is ‘how things are done here’ and reflects the collective behavior of an organization

Positive and negative behaviors are contagious, and whichever behaviors dominate determines whether your culture drives or hinders results.

The uncomfortable truth is that the lowest accepted standard of behavior ultimately defines your culture. Cultural change requires the ability to hold ‘difficult’ conversations to address behaviors that were previously tolerated.

Beyond leadership style or inconsistent behavior, culture is also shaped by organizational factors like structure, KPIs, communication, symbols, and more. We identify the key drivers and adjust—amplifying the positives and minimizing the negatives.

Most people attempt to get everyone onboard at once, but our experience shows that converting 10-15% of cultural influencers is usually enough to bring the rest along. Everyone can join, but not all at once.

This process combines analysis, nudging, behavioral design, case training, and more.
